This is a 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓 question especially considering the last few months. First, yearly eye exams do more than allow you to order more contacts and glasses, they 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐲𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡. The importance was magnified during the lockdown. For example, in the first 2-3 weeks we had to make over 20 referrals for cataracts, retinal problems, or corneal ulcers.

The 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 are:

1. 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲! Get this checked immediately to make sure any issues are addressed ASAP to provide the best possible outcome for your vision and health.

2. If you feel your vision is fine, 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐬 that could permanently affect your vision later on.
